Our Water Services

Our Water Services provided by the Water Quality, and the Rural Water Supply Divisions of The Gambia's Department of Water Resources are committed to ensuring the safety and accessibility of water across the nation, safeguarding public and environmental health. The Water Quality Division works to maintain high water standards, ensuring safe water use and the Rural Water Supply Division focuses on providing clean drinking water to rural communities, conducting regular assessments of water point coverage, and offering technical support for the design and construction of water and sanitation facilities. Through community training, contract supervision, and collaboration with service providers, the department promotes sustainable water management, hygiene, and environmental sanitation in rural areas.
